Behavior Intervention Program

The Keany Associates Behavior Intervention services take place in natural settings, including homes, schools, and the community, helping to maximize the individual’s progress and potential in real-world situations. Keany Associates is part of the Department of Developmental Services (DDS) and the California Department of Education and provides intervention services across the greater Los Angeles area.

Our clients are situated throughout the greater Los Angeles area and represent a variety of geographic locations, ranging from Woodland Hills to Gardena, and Marina Del Rey to West Hollywood.

While many of our clients come to us through the Westside Regional Center (WRC), we are vendored for all of California by the State’s Department of Developmental Services (DDS) to provide Behavior Intervention, Infant Development, Social Skills, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy services to individuals.

Our Behavior Intervention Program:

At Keany Associates, our Behavior Intervention program is based on current best practices in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), with the enhancement of treatment from relationship and play-based theories, including Stanley Greenspan’s Floortime Model.

Developmentally-appropriate services provided in each individual’s natural environment with a staff to client ratio of 1:1.

A multidisciplinary, team-based approach.

A family-centered philosophy, supporting interactions between the caregivers and the client to promote optimal development.

Modeling a variety of strategies and techniques for the families / caregivers to use with the individual throughout their daily routine.

Formally trained behaviorists whose techniques are used fluidly, to assist the family members with helping the client grow.

Interventions designed to overcome problem behaviors, while capitalizing on behavioral strengths.
